About the Boosters

The Michiana Shores Park Boosters organization was established as a club in 1982 to support the newly formed (at that time) Park Board. The annual memberships and donations have funded the purchase of playground equipment, signage, and park cleanups in both Kincaid and Leeds Parks, including the tennis court, pickle ball court, swings and playsets, horseshoe pits, and picnic tables, as well as invasive species cleanup and restoration of natural areas. The Boosters also support the maintenance of the Bear sculpture, the entrance pillar on El Portal, and members adopt and manage various flower beds and plantings in the parks and other prominent areas around our town.   Check out our Campaigns & Events page for more information on recent or upcoming projects and events.
